Fundamental to a career in graphic design is an understanding of typography, as an art form and as a technique. This course, introduces students to the world of typography and invites them to begin seeing the construction of written language in a very new way. In a way that will allow them to use text to communication solutions to problems. The course covers typographic anatomy, type classifications and an introduction to typographic hierarchy.
